My daughter suffers from a neurological disease that causes her to be hypotonic. She has difficulty standing and walking normally.  After breaking her leg she was unable to walk. Her foot had become curved from the casting process.  I came to Eric from another from another orthotic maker who told me he had no idea how to proceed. I was at a dead end. Speaking to my own doctor I told her of my daughters’ serious problem she gave me the number for Oertel Orthopedics. When I took my daughter to Oertel Orthopedics I was petrified he would tell me the same. But instead he told me he would find a way to get on her feet again. Eric went to work thinking outside the box. Within a month he had designed/ invented  an AFO that never existed.  My daughter began to walk again as soon as he put them on her. I cannot describe the relief and joy to see her on her feet again. That would not have happened if not for Oertel Orthopedics.  I can never thank Eric enough.
